Part 1 readyThe premise
The model fills gaps with the average.
Ask for a dashboard and it invents plausible numbers; ask for a landing page and it invents plausible content. Everything here is about closing those gaps on purpose.
Generated. Outstanding reads 84,200 and the badge says twelve invoices, but three rows are listed and they add up to 28,400. “Paid this month” and “Avg days to pay” came from nowhere at all.
Derived. Outstanding is the sum of the rows — 22,200 — and the count matches them. The two figures nothing supports are empty, not invented, and status comes from the due date.

Learn to see the shape without the substance
A generated screen gets the shape right — header, hero, three cards, table, quote. Your eye reads that as competence and stops looking. Go block by block instead and ask what each one claims, and where the claim came from. Ninety seconds to read, two minutes to apply.

- Planned units are marked in the contents and still readable — they carry the claim and the rule. Chapters publish whole.
